Estimator II
The Estimator II is responsible for preparing estimates for projects, mainly design-build, which may include preliminary pricing through full estimates. The Estimator II must develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors in order to ensure competitive and complete pricing for all estimates. - Assist the Project Managers.
- Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or superintendents to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes
- Develop & analyze project schedules
- Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials and labor estimates.
- Develop and maintain supplier and subcontractor relationships.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related technical field and 5 years of related estimating experience. One (1) year of field experience preferred.
