Hutchinson WTF Intermediate Pump Station Improvements

Faced with aging equipment at the Hutchinson Waste Water Treatment Facility, the City of Hutchinson sought to make improvements at the 1950s-era plant.

CAS Constructors is currently working on a design-build project to address the plant’s most pressing needs: CAS just completed some new gravity piping and vaults to accommodate future project needs; next CAS will be modifying an intermediate pump station by changing out four large diameter inclined screw pumps with submersible pumps. CAS is also in the early stages of planning to provide a replacement UV system for the plant. CAS is performing these design-build projects with Burns & McDonnell.
